SYNOPSIS

Blade

The man called Blade was born into a world of blood and evil. When Eric Brooks’ pregnant mother was bitten by a vampire, vampire enzymes altered her baby’s physiology, transforming the child into a Daywalker. These enzymes in Blade's blood imbued him with many of the traditional powers of a vampire but without their accompanying weaknesses; He has superhuman strength, senses and stamina, and an accelerated healing factor. A master martial artist proficient in practically every form of weaponry known to man, he nonetheless prefers swords. Wandering the world with a small silver dagger bequeathed to him by his mother, Blade is dedicated to extinguishing the vampire threat to humanity. On a mission in Japan, Blade discovers the man responsible for killing his mother, Deacon Frost. Teaming up with local teenage vampire hunter, Makoto, Blade chases Deacon Frost and his mysterious vampire organization, Existence, across Asia. From Japan to the Philippines, from Indonesia to Vietnam, and finally in Cambodia, Blade finds himself battling an array of grotesque vampire species he has never seen before. Can he last long enough to bring justice onto Deacon Frost?
