Also partnered with this trio is Carrie Rivai and Alex Torres, FBI consultants and Billy Morgan and Zoe Chae providing technical support. During their first mission, Mike's past comes back to haunt him and Carrie and Alex decide to fake his death. Mike Traceur ceases to exist and Michael Knight is reborn.
