Masi Oka Creating Own Show: Sounds Cool

Masi Oka Creating Own Show: Sounds Cool

Reports are coming in that Masi Oka, Hiro Nakamura in Heroes will be creating and starring in his own show. The coolest thing about it? It will be hard core Sci Fi. Super nerdy hard core Sci Fi. It's called 'The Correctors' and features parallel universes, time travel and consciousness swapping. That's not the freakiest thing to happen in the show - that's the basic premise. Aweseome. So, the story is (vaguely, what we have so far) this. The Correctors are agents who work at the Exceptions...

Why Season 3 is the best Heroes Season Ever

Heroes took the world by storm. It’s now gone into pop culture lore alongside Lost as a big budget, mainstream, small ’s’ Sci Fi that gave the world superheroes without capes, and gave free reign to the idea ‘have you ever wondered if you were meant to do something special’. After the amazing success of the the first season, with its apocalyptic finale and tremendous introduction to characters Peter Petrelli, Claire ‘bear’ the cheerleader, Sylar the ravenous monster, ever hungry for more power...

Gameplay from Heroes Over Europe = Furball!

One of the cool things about the Heroes Over Europe game (out September 17 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360) is the multiplayer aspect, where you'll be able to hop into your Me 109 (or Spitfire, or P-51 Mustang or Hawker Hurricane) and join in a massive online furball with friends and strangers all equally keen on blowing you out of the sky. Seems like a nice thing to do on a rainy Wednesday night. Have a look, see what you think:

For those who didn't try to download the crappy rip-off from the first fifteen minutes that was shown at Comic Con - we have a small hint of a taste - of the first full episode from within the belly of the Heroes Machine. Greatest American Hero Joins Heroes!

    Greatest American Hero Joins Heroes!

It had to happen. William Katt, the poodle-headed star of 80's classic Sci Fi, The Greatest American Hero, has joined the cast of Heroes in its third season. He'll be playing a rather seedy reporter (oxymoron anyone?) who is on the hunt for Ali Larter's character(s). Cool Sci Fi stars of yesteryear are now becoming a feature of Tim Kring's megahit - Katt joins George Takei, Nichelle Nicholls, Joanna Cassidy and Bruce Boxleitner on the show. In the meantime, be sure to check out the glory...

    Bruce Boxleitner To Join Heroes

Bruce Boxleitner, who played Captain (then President) John Sheridan on iconic SCI FI show Babylon 5, will join yet another iconic SCI FI show for its next season - Heroes. According to America's TV Guide, he'll be playing a recurring character that 'interacts' with one of the shows leading ladies. Apparently, the now 58 year old actor was originally slated for a John McCain type role, but the character was re-written to let the ol' Boxleitner magic shine. No details as yet, but good news for...
