It’s finally time to cast off the ugly shadow of 2012 once and for all. The Mayans got it wrong and we had to suffer through cruddy movies like ‘2012’ and all kinds of lousy apocalyptic spin-offs. Andy Whitfield, the Welsh-born Aussie star of the supernatural thriller 'Gabriel' and the TV series, 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand', has died at the age of 39. Angel's Andy Hallet Dies
Andy Hallett, the singer who gained fame as the green-skinned demon Lorne on Angel, has died of congestive heart disease aged 33. Hallett was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after having problems breathing and died there on Sunday. It follows a five-year battle with the heart condition.
