The Week in Geek Issue #100
Greetings dear readers! I’m going to use this space this week to talk about a show you may not have heard of called Community. Having been loaned the first two seasons by a friend of mine (Who despite the odd hiccup has very good taste) my wife and I recently sat down to watch some. It’s an enjoyable mix of wackiness, pop culture references and Chevy Chase up until the episode Modern Warfare, at which point I was hooked. I haven’t seen that many 80’s action movie...Japanese Avengers Trailer Shows Pepper Pots, Aliens and the Heli-Carrier
If you haven’t seen it yet you HAVE to check out this new Avengers trailer. Each of the international trailers has been that little bit better than the last, but with this Japanese edition they’ve taken a giant leap. Much of the footage we’ve already seen in previous trailers, but the quantity of new material is fantastic. With the April 25 release date approaching so quickly, it was about time they started feeding us a little more, but what the Japanese have been served is a veritable feast...The Week in Geek Issue # 99
Welcome again dear readers! It’s confession time people, as I’ve something I’d like to get off my chest. I’m aware this could put me at odds with a lot of my readers, but I have to say it – I don’t like The Big Bang Theory. I’m not saying I hate the show, there’s parts I’ve enjoyed and not just the parts with Wil Wheaton. It’s just something I can only take in short doses – more than half an episode and I start to want to...Battlestar Galactica Blood and Chrome: First Trailer
Looks okay. ;) Or, to put it another way... FRAK YEAH! Th first trailer for the two hour pilot for what will hopefully become the fourth Battlestar Galactica series, Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, has delivered what it always promised, the carnage, action and excitement of the first Cylon War, retold with modern CGI and storytelling techniques. With a bit of tentacled ice-planet action thrown in for good measure, this looks to be EXACTLY the thing that we've been missing...Happy 4th Annual Talk. Like William Shatner. Day!

It’s here! The new Prometheus full trailer has landed and it’s mind-bogglingly wonderful, as we knew it would be based on everything else director Ridley Scott and his A-Team have given us so far. Above you’ll see confirmation that a Space Jockey will be making it into the film. Not sure what Space Jockeys are? In the original Alien film there...
