Whovention is Australia's very own dedicated Doctor Who convention.

In 2013 Whovention: Gold is going right back to the beginning with one of Doctor Who's first companions William Russell, who played science teacher Ian Chesterton. William Russell is also a prolific actor in both television and theatre, and has enjoyed an enduring career.

Russell has been highly involved in Doctor Who fandom over the years, lending his voice to commentaries, lost story narrations, audio versions of the Target books, and Big Finish's Companion Chronicles. He appeared at the Gallifrey One convention in February 2012, and the Doctor Who Club of Australia is looking forward to hosting him in his first trip to Australia!

Our second guest, we are pleased to announce, is Camille Coduri. Camille appeared in many episodes of the new series of Doctor Who as Jackie Tyler, and worked with two Doctors and six companions during this time. We are excited to have her with us and to hear the stories she has to share.
