A cursory cruise through the latest Foxtel mag revealed three new shows of some interest but only one is SciFi.
DR WHO returns on July 9 with Colin Baker at the helm ( I've already stressed that we want Pertwee eps in the not too distant future and then perhaps Blakes 7....hmmm)
FX is fast becoming a station of interest in my mind. They''re corralling quite a stable of adult level shows and they have two newies next month that might engender interest. I love a good political thriller, though I think the Brits do it better than Yankland, from where these two offerings originate;
THE STATE WITHIN starts July 2 at 10.30 pm. Havent seen it but sounds interesting though I seem to recall that the Brit's made one of the same name some time ago
HOMELAND beginning on July 24 involves a war hero who may be a spy. Apparently its taken off in the US, won a few awards etc, and been on commercial networks here for a little while. Worth a peak I think
But sorry. Its otherwise a cold dark winter on the new show front.
Mon capitan: Some new stock is needed again. Thanks for the WHO and Caprica but there are oh so many older shows that have not been seen for yonks on any network that deserve a rerun. What about it Mon Capitan? Feel like taking a risk eh? Gads and begorrah should you even consider some of the old monochrome series and movies.

He now has 33 million followers on facebook, as to be the biggest on there...He just posted Wow.....lol
When's the next Riddick episode VT. Must admit I liked the character esp in Pitch Black.....that is Vinny the Voice Box isnt it?.
Yes it is picking up the good SciFI's - strangely enough, Fx and 111 seem to have the better SciFi shows. I'm really not watching anything on SciFiTV at the moment.
