Well, would you look at that? At 20:30 tomorrow, SF is screening John Carpenter's The Fog (1980), rather than the 2005 remake.
Ladies and gentlemen, you've already given us Invasion of the body snatchers (1978) and Carrie (1976). Now you are all so achingly close to taking that final step toward showing such classic fare as Rollerball (1975), The Time Machine (1960), First Men in the Moon (1956), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), Gojira (1954), The War of the Worlds (1953), or The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), that I can scarce breathe for the pain of anticipation.
Tell me; are you ready to boldly go where no Australian subscription channel has gone before? Are you ready to plumb the uttermost depths of popular culture which lie, forgotten and forlorn, beyond 1980, in your search for new and exciting content?
I know you are scared. I know that to dare this adventure means admitting that your generation did not invent everything. Still, you know that it's the right thing to do — and your loyal viewers are always with you. How might we quell your trepidation? What can we do, to help?

Dunno. Mebbe because I'm usually passing on my way to the Illawarra Escarpment, or from the Southern Highlands? Unless I'm collecting more haematite, Waterfall isn't usually a destination for me — more like a wide place in the highway.
