The highly anticipated new show comes to SCI FI on May 28. Did you see it when it was the world's most expensive internet-exclusive series?

Now it's a fully fledged TV series, starring Stargate's ever popular Amanda Tapping as the mysterious Dr Helen Magnus. She's both the hunter and protector of the world's weirdest beasties whom she houses in The Sanctuary.

What do you think of Amanda with an English Accent? And the huge amound of Green Screen used? Will it be better than Buffy and Angel? Will Stargate fans accept Amanda as a brunette?

Yeah , Sometimes her American accent slips in , but all in all she does a fair job of the accent . The CGI in it is not bad . But , Im of the old school , sets (wooden etc) , but , i think since they are using the same CGI team from SG series , it is not bad at all . The Castle is little obvious sometimes .

If you listen carefully you will hear her (quite often) slip up with the canadian "ABOOT" instead of "ABOUT" , quite funny really, but I do love this show!

according to amanda tapping's imdb.com bio she was actually born in rochford, essex, england. so there is your english accent for you. she did move to canada as a child.
