A lot of light Sci fi, and some good ones at that, but nothing that requires extra thinking. Well maybe D Who...
Fringe is pretty much like the X files, just along a different story path. Shorts stories, and long ones within the same show leading to end at some point to tie it up, and thats this year season 5.
After Fringe goes we are all outa the deeper thinking sci fi series. Continuum is very good, but no real depth to it either, it is Time travel but without going to deep. mostly set now, with flashes of the future in memories, nothing too twisty.
All the really good long running stuff is all in the past, no one wants to think today, they just want short entertaining shows, not too long. Shorter seasons, split up.. or believe reality shows are more real..they are told what to say ppl....
Looking forward to the two Continuums, but a question. What is 'Deep Time'. Is that like dunking your toes in for a dip of shallow time but diving in is like deep time. Or is it that as you are getting deeper into time, those wiggly wobbly things seem to happen in the currents of chronology and you end up being munched by Langoliers..
I don't have the dvds as yet sadly. I'm watching on GO! in the dead of night. Lincoln is off to the Other Side this week.
